8-9mm White teardrop pearl(Pear-Shaped) Freshwater Loose Pearl, AAAA Grade — 8-9mm, white, teardrop pearl(pear-d), graded AAAA.
The tapered drop form hangs on its own axis, so it needs less setting work than a sphere of the same size. It is the natural shape for drop earrings and pendants, and matched pairs are the usual unit of purchase.
This is the classic commercial size band, the one most single-strand necklaces and stud earrings are built around. High-grade material: bright lustre and a largely clean surface, with only the faint growth marks normal to cultured pearls.
